Job summary
Renesas Electronics seeks an experienced Product Engineer to own the technical readiness, manufacturability, and lifecycle performance of advanced power modules from NPI through high-volume production. You will collaborate with Design, Test, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets and drive improvements across the supply chain.
The role demands deep semiconductor power product knowledge, data-driven decision making, and a proven ability to lead complex programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor product, manufacturing, or test engineering.
- Ownership from NPI through high-volume production.
- Strong depth in semiconductor power products and packaging basics.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical decisions and escalations.
Responsibilities
- Own product engineering execution from NPI to high-volume production and sustaining.
- Own manufacturability and drive robust assembly processes across OSAT and internal sites.
- Define assembly workmanship standards per IPC-A-610 requirements.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Design, Test, Quality and Manufacturing.
- Lead yield analysis, parametric trends, and root-cause investigations.
- Manage product change control, PCNs, and manufacturing release.
