Job summary

Leidos Energy’s Generation & Energy Infrastructure Consulting division is seeking an Energy Market Analyst with a strong interest in joining a well-established and growing North American power market consulting practice. Serving independent power producers and electric utilities, our team provides energy price forecasting, market analysis, asset valuation, and strategic energy market advisory services.

You will be part of a collaborative team that supports clients and uses proprietary Leidos

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field with two plus years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of the major US regional power markets.
• Proficiency with Aurora, ProMod, or other similar utility/market simulation models.
• Expertise with Excel for ad hoc data analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of asset and portfolio market projections and valuation.
• Conduct market research and analysis using Leidos tools and licensed software.
• Initiate and contribute to new approaches for evaluating emerging issues in the North American energy sector.
