Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Power Locator to travel to multiple sites daily, locate underground electrical cables, operate equipment, and read maps and prints. The role includes a rotating on-call roster and field duties requiring safety awareness and physical stamina.

Ideal candidates may have related experience; a valid driver’s license is a must, and willingness to travel is required. This is a full-time field position with benefits and career development opportunities.

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Power Locator is to drive to multiple locations every day, locate underground electric cables, operate equipment, and read maps and electrical prints. This position will be on a scheduled, rotating, on-call/call-out roster.

Qualifications

• Willing to enter energized equipment
• Willing to travel when necessary
• Applicable prior work experience is preferred, but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
