Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Power Locator to travel to multiple sites daily to locate underground electric cables, operate related equipment, and read maps and electrical prints.

The position follows a scheduled, rotating on-call/call-out roster to cover emergencies and outages. • Willing to enter energized equipment.
• Willing to travel when necessary.
• Applicable prior work experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drive to multiple locations daily to locate underground electric cables.
• Operate equipment as part of locating operations.
• Read maps and electrical prints to identify cable routes.
• Work on a scheduled, rotating on-call/call-out roster.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Power Locator is to drive to multiple locations every day, locate underground electric cables, operate equipment, and read maps and electrical prints. This position will be on a scheduled, rotating, on-call/call-out roster.
