Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Lab Engineering Power Technician to perform engineering tests and VR power solution validations in Intel's lab environment. You will conduct fault isolation, platform rework, and detailed data reporting to support power solutions engineering.

Based in the Data Center Group, you will use oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, and function generators to validate VRs and power systems, read schematics, and document findings for engineers and stakeholders, while participating in

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar.
• 6+ months experience in platform rework including soldering and component replacement.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, and function generators.
• Ability to read schematics and board layout databases.
• Experience with routine lab maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical validation and testing of VRs and other power solutions.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Execute platform rework including soldering and component replacement.
• Use lab tools for advanced testing (oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, function generators).
• Read, interpret, and work with schematics and board layout databases.
• Manage routine lab maintenance, calibration, and tracking of parts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and communicate findings.
