Job summary

Sol-Ark is seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to design and develop real-time control firmware for our next-generation power inverters. The role focuses on TI C2000 DSCs and close collaboration with hardware engineers to implement advanced control loops and ensure system reliability.

You will write high-performance C/C++ code, configure peripherals, and build robust software for energy solutions. A bachelor’s in EE or CE and 3+ years in embedded firmware for power electronics are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware experience in power electronics.
• Proven experience with TI C2000 DSCs using CCS and C2000Ware.
• Deep understanding of power inverter operation and digital control theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time control firmware for TI C2000 MCUs.
• Design and optimize control loops (PI/PR, SVPWM) for inverters.
• Configure TI C2000 peripherals (PWM, ADCs, eCAP, eQEP).
• Develop low-level drivers for CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
• Test and debug firmware on hardware using JTAG, scopes and analyzers.
