Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech II) in Indianapolis, IN to maintain and repair diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification systems on a range of rental and customer units.

You will document service work, occasionally travel to customer sites, demonstrate equipment, and assist with pickup/delivery of parts. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
• Diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic systems.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Valid driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment.
• Responsible for service documentation.
• Occasional travel to customer sites.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
