Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. seeks a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech II) in the Power/HVAC division to perform maintenance and minor repairs on diesel engines and HVAC equipment.

You will work safely, deliver quality service, and support customers with professional on-site support. The role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, documenting service activities, and occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Responsible for service documentation
• Occasional travel to customer sites
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed
