Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech III) to perform maintenance and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification systems in a safe, professional manner. You will work within the Power/HVAC division to keep equipment in top condition and provide exceptional customer service to clients.

This role involves maintenance and repair across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, occasional travel to customer sites, and mentoring junior

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
Strong mechanical background knowledge, especially with engines.
Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
Own the tools applicable to position.
Superior customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
Report machine condition to Management and document service.
Occasional travel to customer sites and demonstrate equipment.
Train lower level technicians as needed.
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
