Position Overview: As a Power HVAC Mechanic within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you'll perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification equipment. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher-level technician roles within our Service Department, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
• Complete service documentation accurately
• Travel occasionally to customer sites
• Demonstrate equipment to customers
• Assist with the pickup and delivery of equipment and parts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience with diesel engines or HVAC equipment
• Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills for various systems
• Understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Owns applicable tools
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs regularly
