As a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech I) within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you'll perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification equipment. This role offers daily opportunities for skill improvement and career advancement within our Service Department, alongside providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and equipment cleaning.
2. Report equipment condition before and after use.
3. Demonstrate equipment for customers.
4. Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
3. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with relevant tools.
4. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
5. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
6. Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs. regularly.
