Job summary

United Rentals in Manassas, VA seeks a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech II) to perform maintenance and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC and related equipment. You will work safely, document service tasks, and assist with equipment pickups and deliveries.

The role involves traveling occasionally to customer sites, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and diesel systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience repairing/maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic systems and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental equipment.
• Responsible for service documentation.
• Occasional travel to customer sites.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
