Diamond Environmental Services is hiring for a Power Helper I in Huntington Park, CA. The role oversees and executes safe installation of power systems, including poles and temporary power, while coordinating with the superintendent for project execution.

Requirements include 2+ years in electrical installation, read/interpreting electrical plans, and a valid driver’s license. The job is full‑time, in-person, with outdoor duties and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installation and theory.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
• Must be reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform electrical installations on-site.
• Meet with the superintendent before installation to plan project execution.
• Operate a medium-duty truck to transport and deliver power equipment.
• Set up power poles, lines, and temporary power systems.
• Ensure all materials and tools are loaded, secured, and stocked.
• Complete work orders and interact with customers professionally.
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles and ensure job readiness.
• Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Ensure all work meets company and customer expectations.
• Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
