Job summary

Diamond Environmental Services is seeking a Power Helper I to supervise and execute the safe installation of temporary and permanent power systems, including poles and related electrical equipment. You will oversee on-site electrical installations, meet with the superintendent to plan execution, and ensure proper loading and readiness of materials.

The role requires at least 2 years of electrical experience, the ability to read plans, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installation and theory.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Supervise and perform electrical installations on-site.
Meet with the superintendent before installation to plan project execution.
Operate a medium-duty truck to transport and deliver power equipment.
Set up power poles, lines, and temporary power systems.
Ensure all materials and tools are loaded, secured, and stocked.
Complete work orders and interact with customers professionally.
Maintain clean, organized vehicles and ensure job readiness.
Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
