Job summary

Burford’s Construction seeks an entry-level Trimmer C/General Laborer to support vegetation management and clearing for power grid maintenance. You will perform physically demanding tasks outdoors, assist crew safety, and participate in storm restoration efforts as needed.

Ideal candidates are able to read/write English, may be bilingual (Spanish/English), and hold a valid driver’s license. CDL is preferred; willingness to travel and work overtime is required.

Qualifications

• No experience needed.
• Must read and communicate in English.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Must be able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Capable of strenuous outdoor labor and lifting >50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety for yourself and others using PPE and tools.
• Assist in vegetation management and clearing.
• Support team in meeting project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.
