Job summary

Ampirical is seeking a Project Manager (I or II) in our PMO to lead engineering project delivery across the full lifecycle for electrical utility projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client relationships, with support from a dedicated Project Controls team.

The role spans single-discipline to multi-discipline designs, ranging from smaller task orders to large programs. A strong PM background in utilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in utilities engineering or similar.
• PE license and/or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects across full lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
• Manage contracts, scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Coordinate field activities, site observations, commissioning, surveys, and studies.
• Maintain client relationships and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure designs meet codes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare scope narratives, assumptions, and pricing for proposals.
• Oversee monthly reporting and change order management.
• Guide multiple disciplines on complex programs.
