Qualifications

Associates degree in Electrical Technology or bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (power option preferred) or HS Diploma with extensive related experience.
Role typically requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related electric transmission and distribution facility operations; control room experience preferred.
Knowledge of power system operations and equipment; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Direct switching operations and routine testing.
Administer Company Clearance and Control rules and other equipment tests as directed.
Control and direct restoration procedures for interruptions and disturbances, including dispatching of personnel.
Monitor security and alarms for stations and facilities; record readings and logs.
Receive trouble calls and dispatch personnel; coordinate with construction, maintenance and operations teams.
