Job summary

GenServe is a leading independent power generator solutions provider, expanding nationally. The Service Writer will manage end-to-end quoting, interact daily with technicians and customers, and ensure accurate pricing and timely follow-up across multiple systems.

You will enter quotes, monitor backlog, and help improve profitability through accurate cost estimation. This role emphasizes efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience entering quotes in QuoteWerks, Salesforce and GoldMine.
• Ability to research parts and labor costs.
• Strong time management and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive quote requests from technicians or customers and follow up to obtain information.
• Enter quotes into ServiceTitan and Salesforce, keeping customer data up to date.
• Monitor quote backlog to ensure 1–2 day turnaround.
• Research parts and labor, confirm pricing, and consult with technicians or customers when needed.
• Send completed quotes and follow up within 2–3 business days.
• Notify Parts Coordinator when quotes are accepted to start job setup.
• Review monthly job profitability and identify cost estimation discrepancies.
