Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to support military operations by performing preventive maintenance on generation equipment and replacing components such as voltage regulators, governors and circuit cards to ensure reliable power for Army activities.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and about 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with classroom and field practice, earning a regular paycheck during training and qualifying for tuition

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass physical exam.
• Must enlist in Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
