Job summary

GTT, LLC seeks an experienced Pursuit Planner / Schedule Support for our Power Generation projects in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on early-stage schedules and ensuring consistency before detailed engineering is defined.

Responsibilities include developing proposal schedules, client cash flow projections, and coordinating with preconstruction, engineering, and leadership to establish planning parameters. Mentorship of execution schedulers and data integration with Power BI are included.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of project planning/scheduling in heavy industry (EPC).
• Direct field experience on power plant construction preferred.
• Experience with power technologies: Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, LNG.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel for complex scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit planning & early-stage development, including boundary planning and front-end schedule development.
• Develop Level 1 proposal schedules and support proposal lifecycles.
• Collaborate with proposal, preconstruction and engineering to define planning parameters.
• Create high-level cash flow plans and client histograms for capacity planning.
• Lead capacity planning improvements and integrate data with Power BI.
• Support execution schedule transition to Level 3 EPC/engineering/procurement schedules.
• Facilitate IPPM meetings and perform schedule QA checks.
• Mentor execution schedulers in standard practices and advanced P6 methods.
