Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Project Logistics Coordinator in the Houston area to support CAPEX logistics for an energy infrastructure client. You will expedite POs and service orders for MEP equipment, align with procurement and construction milestones, and ensure timely, documented deliveries.

The role requires 3–7 years in logistics or project coordination, strong Excel skills, and ability to manage multi-site shipments, including heavy-haul loads, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics or related fields.
• 3-7 years of logistics, transportation, material control, or project coordination experience, preferably supporting construction, energy, industrial, EPC, or capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of freight, trucking, heavy-haul logistics, scheduling, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and advanced Excel/project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project logistics plans, ensuring alignment with procurement schedules, construction milestones, and equipment delivery timelines.
• Coordinate transportation, shipment tracking, and delivery of equipment and materials from suppliers to project sites, including oversized and heavy-haul loads.
• Serve as the key liaison between suppliers, freight carriers, contractors, procurement teams, project management, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee site logistics activities, including delivery sequencing, unloading, laydown areas, storage planning, material handling, and inventory control.
• Maintain logistics documentation and reporting, including shipment schedules, bills of lading, delivery records, KPIs, risk identification, and status updates to project leadership.
• Support receipt and inspection of equipment, resolve delivery issues (damaged, missing, or incorrect materials), and coordinate logistics across multiple concurrent construction phases.
