Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst I to join our Finance & Business Analytics team. You will develop budget models, analyze large datasets, and deliver insights to support decisions across Power Generation.

You will present findings to stakeholders, design processes for improvement, and contribute to SOX-compliant budgeting and forecasting. Preferred candidates demonstrate strong Excel and BI skills, familiarity with SAP, and a practical, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business operations and prepare presentations that provide operational and technical support.
• Develop detailed budget models and present findings to stakeholders and executives.
• Help design and refine processes to drive continuous business improvement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Lead and execute process improvement projects using Six Sigma principles.
