Job summary

Multiquip is seeking a skilled Service Technician II to service, troubleshoot, test, and repair MQ Power generation equipment in the Fullerton, CA area. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise with the ability to work independently in a field and shop environment.

Candidate should have a strong safety mindset and be able to communicate technical findings to customers and team members. The position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with power generation equipment (2020 and newer).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engine generators.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot power generation equipment and identify root causes of failures.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and related accessories.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation for repairs.
• Set up and operate generator testing equipment and document results.
• Maintain inventory of service parts and coordinate supplies for field work.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and communicate findings clearly.
