Job summary

Multiquip Inc. in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Service Technician II to service, maintain, troubleshoot, test and repair MQ Power generation equipment and related systems.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional field service. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs on generators, interpret wiring diagrams, conduct testing, manage parts and inventory, and collaborate with teammates to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with power generation equipment (2020+ models).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engine generators.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot power generation equipment and identify root causes of failures.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and related accessories.
• Replace components as needed and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Set up and operate generator testing and commissioning using load bank systems.
• Maintain inventory and complete service reports in a timely manner.
