Job summary

Basin-Solutions in Tipton, MO seeks Field Service Technicians to diagnose and repair diesel and natural gas generators, perform preventive maintenance, and support commissioning on site.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in power generation or heavy equipment, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license; CDL is a plus. Sign-on bonus or relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in power generation, heavy-duty diesel, industrial maintenance, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, engine repair, mining equipment, trucking, or related mechanical/electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel and natural gas generators
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, tune-ups, repairs, and commissioning work
• Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, engine controls, transfer switches, switchgear, battery chargers, block heaters, and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately
• Operate service trucks and field equipment safely and professionally
• Participate in an after-hours emergency service rotation as required
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer sites
