Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking an experienced Power Generation Technician to support a major data center project beginning in 2027 in the New Florence, MO area. This role focuses on installation, commissioning, load-bank testing and ongoing maintenance of extra-large generator sets in a mission-critical environment.

You will work with Fabick Cat, Caterpillar and customer teams, perform diagnostics, document results, and adhere to all safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing diesel engines.
• Experience with large-frame generator sets strongly preferred.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, load-bank testing or data center power systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with electronic diagnostic tools; Cat ET experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and varying shifts as required by the project.

Responsibilities
