Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to ensure reliable power for operations, day or night. You will perform preventive maintenance on generation sets, replace regulators or circuit cards, and adjust voltages per technical publications.

Training includes basic and advanced individual instruction; you will learn while earning a paycheck with tuition assistance and potential civilian career paths in power plant electrical work.

Qualifications

Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment.
