Job summary

Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) seeks an engineering professional to support combustion turbine and diesel plant operations, regulatory compliance, and project coordination. You will monitor performance, prepare reports for NERC/PJM/DOE, assist with maintenance and inspections, and provide technical support across departments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years in power generation or industrial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Electrical or Mechanical emphasis is preferred.
• Minimum three years engineering experience in power generation or industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory, operational, and corporate reports.
• Monitor plant performance and provide technical analyses for leadership.
• Support diesel generation facilities inspections, fuel monitoring, and regulatory audits.
• Oversee contractors and coordinate project activities at generation facilities.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
