Job summary

Commonwealth Associates, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Designer to support creating and modifying deliverables under general supervision. You will apply standards and document control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects.

You may begin to provide technical guidance to fellow Designers, work with internal teams, and focus on meeting client needs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.

  • Applies knowledge of the Quality Program to ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant.
  • Supports continuous improvement of guides and standards.
  • Evaluates and improves design methods, processes and procedures used to accomplish deliverables.
  • Creates and develops deliverables from a variety of design inputs; may perform quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
  • Assists in coordinating deliverables within the team on the same project.
  • Focuses on the needs of internal clients while gaining understanding of external clients.

Job description

Primary Purpose

Functions in a mid level Designer capacity. Under general supervision, performs functions requiring intermediate knowledge and use of standards and document control processes/procedures in support of creating and modifying deliverables. May begin to provide technical guidance to other Designers.
