Ohio Cat Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is seeking a Power Generation Service Technician to service standby and prime power systems across diverse industries. You will work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, performing hands-on diagnostics and repairs on large diesel generators.

You will inspect and restore 500 kW–2,000 kW units, read electrical schematics, document service reports, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience servicing power generation equipment, diesel engines, or related industrial systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on generator or engine rebuild experience.
• Solid knowledge of DC electrical systems and machine electronic controls.
• Ability to follow technical manuals, service procedures, and manufacturer updates.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power generation equipment ranging from 500 kW to 2,000 kW.
• Perform engine, mechanical, and electrical diagnostics on diesel generator systems.
• Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation.
• Perform all work safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
