Job summary
Dominion Energy's Generation Facility (Virginia City Hybrid Center) in St Paul, VA seeks an Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting power station operations. You will assist with inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor plant equipment.
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program in Instrumentation or related field is required with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in instrumentation or related technical field with graduation 2028/2029.
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and data collection.
- Participate in equipment inspections and projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
