Job summary

The role includes outage planning, design review, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with maintenance/operations to understand plant principles. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Interpersonal and written/oral communication skills required.
• Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Interface with external customers to provide electric service.
• Design electric distribution facilities and perform engineering studies using computer-based systems.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team to meet customer needs.
• Assist in outage efforts as needed.
• Work assignment complexity grows with tenure of student employees.
• Demonstrate the ability to apply engineering principles.
• Understand procedures, programs, and standards within their area of discipline.
• Manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
