The Power & Fiber Project Manager is the senior field presence responsible for safety, quality, technical and administrative success of power and fiber scope within large projects, overseeing 5kv-35kV power, 96-244 strand fiber optic cable, and related components. This role acts as DIG's senior electrical representative for planning, installation, testing and closeout.
Based in Fairbanks, the position will transition to the North Slope.
JOB SUMMARY: The Power & Fiber Project Manager is the senior presence in the field and has overall responsibility for the safety, quality, technical, and administrative success of power and fiber scope within larger projects. The Power & Fiber Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation of 5kv-35kV power, 96-244 strand fiber optic cable, and associated components. This position is Doyon Industrial Group's (DIG) senior electrical representative for project planning, installation, testing, and closeout. This position coordinates schedules, verifies adequate and appropriate equipment/labor are available, reviews field reports, tracks direct and subcontractor costs, manages work per the IBEW Collective Bargaining Agreement, and coordinates the electrical scope with the client. This position will be based in Fairbanks and then transition to the North Slope.
