Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Power Equipment Operator to support our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. You will operate powered equipment to move merchandise safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

You should be comfortable working up to 40 feet high, with targeted training on stock pickers, reach trucks, and other PIT devices. This full-time role includes weekend shifts and requires a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Experience operating power equipment or working with baler/compactor.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Able to operate powered industrial trucks up to 40 feet.
• Able to read and understand employment policies in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to move merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Input data using PCs, handheld devices, RF equipment.
• Identify and report equipment failures or safety issues.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily goals and standards.
• Wear name badge, follow dress code, attend start-ups.
• Prioritize customers and handle merchandise carefully.
