Macy's is hiring a Power Equipment Operator to support our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. You will operate powered industrial trucks to move merchandise safely and efficiently, helping ensure customers receive items when they need them.

This full-time role typically requires 30+ hours per week, with potential for additional shifts. You must be comfortable at heights up to 40 feet, work with handheld devices and warehouse software, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand safety rules in English.
• Flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment safely to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise.
• Input data using PCs and handheld devices across warehouse systems.
• Maintain safety in high reach areas up to 40 feet.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and communicate with leaders and customers.
• Start shift by following procedures and ensuring area is ready.
• Pack customer orders carefully and ensure on-time delivery.
• Foster a hospitable, respectful work environment.
• Report equipment failures and safety issues promptly.
• Ensure daily goals and proper housekeeping.
