Job summary

Bechtel is providing engineering, procurement and construction for a large power plant project in Ohio, US. A Project IT Lead is sought to join the project, reporting to the Project Manager, with the role starting in Reston, Houston or remote until mobilization to the site.

The position oversees IT operations, infrastructure, and governance, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless IT delivery for the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams and SharePoint administration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all IT operations and services for the project team.
• Provide IT operational/technical support and deliverables to support project execution.
• Define IT infrastructure, network, and communications requirements for site offices.
• Develop complex IT reports, dashboards, and automate workflows.
• Coordinate IT plans with project team, contractors, and client.
