You’ll support distribution design, learn industry software, and collaborate with engineers, field personnel, and clients while maintaining project records and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to engineering.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new software and technical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work office and field settings.

Responsibilities

• Support electric utility distribution design and engineering projects.
• Apply standards, regulations, and guidelines to project work.
• Prepare job packages with drawings, material lists, and estimates.
• Learn and utilize GIS, CAD, and other design tools.
• Evaluate loading, transformers, fusing, and equipment.
• Develop construction-ready designs and work packages.
• Conduct field visits to gather data and verify requirements.
• Collaborate with teams, field personnel, and clients.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Promote Pike Engineering’s safety commitments.
