Job summary

Wistron is seeking a DC power engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of the product, focusing on DC power delivery quality and long-term stability of each component on every power rail.

You will work with customers to conduct technical discussions and build relationships, collaborating with EE, ME, layout, validation engineers, and product managers to address issues and enhance product quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in DC-DC converter design preferred.
  • Strong debugging and test equipment experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering issues early and ensure product quality.
  • Familiar with Intel, AMD and Nvidia platform power delivery design.
  • Define power component placement and routing guidelines (PCB material, layers, vias).
  • Design and tune multi-phase voltage regulators with digital controllers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Wistron is seeking a DC power engineer, who will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the product. The core responsibility is to focus on power delivery quality and the long-term stability of each component on each power rail.

You will not only focus on DC power design but also work closely with customers to conduct technical discussions and build relationships.

  • Collaborate with EE, ME, layout engineers, validation engineers, product manager and other teams to discover and solve any engineering issues in early stage to ensure and enhance the quality of the products.
  • Familiar Intel, AMD and Nvidia platform power delivery design.
  • Definition power components placement and routing guidelines include PCB material study, layer define, via quantity…etc.
  • Based with multi-phase voltage regulator design knowledge and tuning with digital controller.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 5 years of experience in DC-DC converter design preferred.
  • Debugging tools and software, oscilloscope, E-load, Soldering Irons, etc.
  • Quick learning and outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and excellent communication skills.
  • Individual must be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
