Job summary

CW Talent Solutions in Miami is seeking a Power/Energy Analyst to research, develop and execute power and energy trading strategies (ISO/ ERCOT / PJM). You will manage data and modelling for the power and gas desks, generating reports to identify market discrepancies that drive PNL.

Python is used to support trading of global commodity strategies, leveraging strong knowledge of US/European energy markets. The role requires 2+ years of buyside analyst experience and deep market knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an Analyst / Researcher within the Buyside / Trade Shop.
• Strong Power/ Energy market knowledge

Responsibilities

• Research, development and execution of Power and Energy trading strategies (ISO/ERCOT / PJM).
• Managing data and modelling for the power and gas desks, generating reports with the aim of finding discrepancies in the markets to use as a source of PNL.
• Using Python you will assist in trading global commodity strategies.
