Job summary

Focus is seeking a QC Test Technician to visually inspect units and perform production line acceptance testing using manual and automated equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities and meticulous documentation of results.

The candidate will read detailed drawings and procedures, troubleshoot issues, and report findings promptly. Some mechanical assembly may be required, with evening shift availability and collaborative work in a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent; reading schematics preferred.
• Experience with power electronics testing and documentation.
• Must read and interpret schematics and procedures.
• Proficient with standard test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, analyzers).
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide timely results.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on all product lines.
• Perform production line acceptance testing including insulation and function tests.
• Follow detailed instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion.
• Record test results and complete paperwork per procedures.
• Report issues found on failed units and assist with assembly as needed.
