Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related environments; graduates from vocational/technical programs are welcome.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree is a plus.
• Manual dexterity with hand and power tools, ability to handle delicate electronics with heavy components.
• Technical reading: ability to interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Soldering and crimping experience is highly desirable.
• Physical stamina: stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble power electronics units including mounting heavy components and securing enclosures.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and terminal crimping for control and high-power circuits.
• Support NPI line setup, materials prep, and component kitting.
• Follow SOPs and drawings to ensure consistency and quality.
• Order and manage inventory to ensure parts are available when needed.
• Complete build logs and quality checklists to document procedures.
• Operate shop equipment and assist with test setup during functional testing.
