North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking an Intern - Electrical Engineer (Power) for Summer 2027 to support the design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of power-related products and prototypes.

This hands-on internship offers exposure to DSP programming, schematic work, and production support. The role aims to provide practical engineering experience in a collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to product development and testing.

Qualifications

• Pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical circuits, schematic capture, and power-supply fundamentals.
• Communicate effectively and apply analytical problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Person status required and able to provide documentation at hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate prototype circuitry under engineering guidance.
• Develop, review, modify, and validate C and assembly code for DSP controllers.
• Test and debug electronic hardware to the component level.
• Develop test procedures and document engineering evaluations of products.
• Support investigation and resolution of design issues affecting production hardware.
• Create and maintain schematics using engineering design tools.
• Support programming, automated testing, and technical reporting activities for power-related products.
