Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validate inverter and converter power electronics, control systems, and various auxiliary components for traction, propulsion, and other applications (railway rolling stock, light rail vehicles, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
• Several years of relevant full-time experience.
• Experience with high power electronics design, including converters (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC), three-phase motors, switching devices, Si/SiC MOSFET, IGBT, etc.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, LTSpice/QSpice, etc.

Screening Questions

• Do you have hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and controlling inverters, AC-DC, DC-AC, DC-DC converters?
• Do you have experience in sizing switching devices and filter components?
• Do you have experience in comparing, analyzing, understanding, and controlling the characteristics and performance of silicon vs silicon carbide switching devices for the applications mentioned above?
