Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a power electronics engineer to design converters, motor controllers, and power supplies. You will perform circuit analysis, simulations, and component selection while creating engineering documentation and supporting verification, validation, and factory transition.

You will collaborate across engineering teams to meet aerospace mission-assurance standards and contribute to cross-functional programs with potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
• Hands-on power supply topology design, control and stability expertise.
• Schematic capture and PCB design experience.
• Power electronics simulation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronics hardware including converters, motor controllers, and power supplies.
