Job summary

LITEON designs and manufactures power supplies, keyboards, ODD, racks, enclosures, and liquid cooling for diverse customers. The Electrical Engineer will bridge power hardware with system-level requirements, collaborating across firmware and software teams.

The role emphasizes hardware design, validation, and compliance, with hands-on debugging and lab work to ensure high reliability in high-power applications. A bachelor’s degree in EE or related field is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
  • 0–2+ years of experience in high-power product or power module hardware design.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, high-voltage systems, and control hardware.
  • Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and hardware validation.
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces supporting firmware and software integration.
  • Hands-on lab experience with debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced development environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Power Electronics & Hardware Design: design and develop power electronics circuits for high-power products and modules.
  • System & Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with firmware and software teams to define hardware interfaces and support system-level integration.
  • PCB Design & Validation: lead or support schematic design, PCB layout review, and design verification for power hardware.
  • Compliance, Testing & Reliability: support hardware testing for safety, EMI/EMC, reliability, and environmental testing.
  • Documentation & Industry Awareness: create and maintain hardware design documentation, specifications, and test reports; stay current with industry trends.
