Qualifications

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for power converters, including enclosures, plastics, heatsinks, insulators, transformers, connectors, PCBAs, and joints.
• Apply first-principles engineering for structural, thermal, and tolerance optimization.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
• Support prototyping, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Design for high-volume manufacturing and DFM.
• Work with processes such as sheet metal, stamping, injection molding, die casting, extrusion, fastening, and adhesive dispensing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external suppliers.

• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, reliability/validation testing, and PLM.
• Experience with medium-voltage/grid products, such as converters, switchgear, circuit breakers, insulation, or shielding.
