Motion Recruitment is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer for a full-time role in the Greater Boston area. You will own products from concept through production, focusing on power electronics, embedded systems, FPGA-based hardware, and high-performance power supplies.

Qualifications

• BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
• 3+ years of hardware/electrical design experience.
• Strong background in power electronics.
• Experience designing PWM amplifiers and power supplies.
• Embedded programming experience with microprocessors and/or FPGAs.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.
• Hands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and power analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Owns design tasks from concept through production.
• Develops power electronics, embedded systems, and FPGA/microprocessor hardware.
• Performs simulation and analysis of circuits.
• Conducts testing and validation of designs.
• Collaborates with small engineering teams to resolve issues.
