Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking an innovative Power Electronics Controls Engineer Intern to support modeling and simulation of advanced power electronics control systems. You will focus on edge-case scenarios before hardware validation and build robust HIL systems using Typhoon HIL.

You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems, and regulatory engineering teams to integrate requirements into design, modeling, and testing processes. This internship is based in Campbell, CA.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) preferred.
• 2+ years of proven experience developing Power Electronics products.
• Experience with renewable energy integration and grid-tie systems (solar, BESS, EVSE).
• 2+ years of Python programming for scripting and automation.
• Experience in HIL testing and real-time simulation tools.
