Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer in Virginia Beach, VA to support design, installation, testing, and integration of electrical systems for power-generation equipment. The role combines engineering, testing, documentation, and guidance for installation teams.

The candidate will develop drawings, BOMs, and panels, ensure NEC compliance, perform testing, and coordinate with production, sales, and customers. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing, installing, and testing electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, blueprints, and specs.
Knowledge of NEC requirements and AC/DC electricity.

Responsibilities

Develop and review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs.
Design and support control panels for electromechanical systems.
Review electrical designs for NEC compliance and suitability.
Calculate electrical loads and wiring requirements.
Inspect and test completed equipment before shipment.
Provide training to electricians on schematics and safety.
