Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience involving electrical equipment design, installation, and testing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of NEC and power-generation equipment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, layouts, and specifications.
• Support electricians with training on schematic interpretation, installation, testing, and labeling.
• Work with Sales Engineering on electrical designs, proposals, specifications, and NEC requirements.
• Inspect and functionally test completed equipment before shipment and resolve defects or discrepancies.
• Develop electrical drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) and specify required equipment.
• Design and build control panels for basic electro-mechanical systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations and other standard engineering computations.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on training related to electrical equipment, tools, and work practices.
